MANILA - Mobile Legends: Bang Bang reveals the dates and tournament format for the upcoming M5 World Championships, including the Wild Card stage, Wednesday.

The Wild Card stage, which will be held in a yet-to-be-named venue in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will be held from November 23 to 26 with eight teams divided into two groups by a random alternating draw.

The teams will face their groupmates in a single round-robin to determine the top two teams to advance to a crossover match, and the winners of the crossover match will book the final two seats to the M5 Group stage to happen in the Philippines.

The M5 Group stage will be held in six days from December 2 to 7, where the 16 qualified teams will be drafted into four groups of four.

All teams will see their groupmates in a single round-robin, best-of-three matchup where the top two teams from each group will proceed to the knockout stages, while the third and fourth-placed teams will bid goodbye to the competition.

The knockout stages will be held from December 9 to 16 in a double-elimination format, where two teams from the same group will not be drawn together in the same matchup.

All matches will be in a best-of-five up until the Grand Finals on December 17, with the M5 trophy to be contested in a best-of-seven series.

The venues for both the Wild Card round and the main tournament are to be announced on a later date.
