PASAY--Team Falcons Philippines turned back TNC, 2-0, in a battle pitting streaking MPL Philippines squads on Friday night at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom in Makati.
Game 1 saw Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel playing brilliant gameplay as Valentina as he used much of his I Am You ultimate skill on Lance "LanceCy" Cunanan's Pharsa, letting Arcangel use the Feathered Air Strike to inflict much damage on TNC even as Michael "KyleTzy" Sayson's Hayabusa reigned supreme over Mark "Zaida" Palma's Baxia in the jungle.
Palma tried to show that he, too, can excel as Hayabusa after taking the said hero in Game 2, scoring one kill and assisting on another to open TNC's offensive.
However, Sayson, now playing as Ling, remained unstoppable, going 8-0-4 while leading the game-turning wipeout that completely reversed the fortunes for both squads.
Falcons PH now holds solo third place at 4-1, while TNC saw its three-match winning streak snapped and fell to fourth place at 3-2.
