MANILA--Team Liquid Philippines showed on Friday night that it is still fine even if three former players are now with TNC despite needing a 2-1 escape in their MPL Philippines Season 15 action at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom in Makati.
It all boiled down to one huge turnaround in Game 3.
After taking down two Liquid PH members, TNC tried to make the final push instead of securing the evolved Lord.
However, Liquid PH bounced back by accomplishing a 3-for-3 clash trade-off that included bringing down Justine "Zaida" Palma's Joy which slowed things down for TNC.
In the ensuing Lord dance, Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno got the evolved Lord and also put an end to the early game domination of Benny "BennyQT" Gonzales as Granger as Liquid PH completed the Game 3 comeback.
Liquid PH, which averted a TNC reverse sweep, moved up to 6-0 ahead of a huge showdown against fellow unbeaten Aurora on Saturday.
TNC, on the other hand, dropped to 3-4, losing for the third straight match.
