QUEZON CITY--Just when at least two MPL Philippines coaches anticipated an "auto-ban" on new hero Kalea at the start of the second round, Renejay Bacarse took advantage of Twisted Minds Philippines not going for it and gave Aurora the solid head start en route to the 2-0 win on Friday night at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom in Makati.

Coach Bonn "Bon Chan" Ricaplaza decided not to ban the new hero, which only became eligible to use starting on Friday night, and Bacarse took advantage of it by picking the support-fighter hero as the roamer.

The ploy seemed to have worked for Twisted Minds PH, as they raced to a 4-1 kill lead while securing the first turtle.

However, the three-fighter combo of Bacarse's Kalea, Edward Dapadap's Phoveus, and Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto's Lukas took over in the middle game, and after a 4-1 team fight win during the second Lord fight, Aurora decided to successfully go for the finish right at the 15-minute mark.

Ensuring that Twisted Minds PH could not get back at Aurora by using Kalea, Coach Aniel "Master The Basics" Jiandani advised to ban the new hero for Game 2.

Although Salic "Hadjizy" Imam had a solid early game with his Pharsa in hopes of keeping Twisted Minds PH alive, Dominic "Domengkite" Del Mundo once again showed the way with his Granger, leading a wipeout that helped set up Aurora's late game brilliance.

Aurora remains undefeated at 8-0, while Twisted Minds PH slipped to 1-7.
